Which Macs support HDMI with ethernet? I don't know for sure, but I suspect that this feature isn't exposed or supported at all. I've certainly never seen HDMI show up as a network interface. If the TV has an ethernet port, you'll probably have a much easier time just using that. |

How do I use/enable Tor when using Terminal? It depends on the script. It would have to be written to work with a SOCKS proxy. |

Delayed, undesirable sleep on de-powering MBP retina with ML It might be worth running a command like pmset -g log | grep -E '^.{24} Sleep ' in Terminal to hopefully see what the sleep cause was. |

Syncing non-Amazon purchased eBooks between Kindle, iPad, and iPhone As explained in the other answer, it's very easy to add ebooks to Amazon's cloud storage as personal documents. From that point on they're treated no different from purchased ebooks. That answer does need to be edited as Send to Kindle also supports mobi and AZW files. |

How does one access Team Foundation Server from an iDevice? I assume TFS refers to Team Foundation Server. It's an unusual acronym around here so it might be good to edit and clarify that. |

Can I prevent a remote Mac from entering sleep via a remote ssh connection? I don't have time to write this as a full answer, but caffeinate is a command-line tool built-in to 10.8 that can also be used to prevent sleep temporarily. |

Serial-Ethernet or Serial-WiFi (or Serial-Bluetooth?) on OS X Yeah, I'm assuming that the networked adapters would only allow one connection at a time just because that's what serial devices expect. They could design something to get around that limitation, but that takes effort to get right and I always assume that hardware manufacturers will do the minimum possible. |

Serial-Ethernet or Serial-WiFi (or Serial-Bluetooth?) on OS X That's right, it would be identical to hardwired, as far as the software is concerned (in theory, ethernet/wifi would work the same, but they'd need drivers first). I'm not sure how or if Android handles SPP. Bluetooth would definitely be limited to one device at a time, but I'm not sure ethernet/wifi would allow more than one either, even though NMEA is unidirectional. |

identify if Filevault is enabled on remote Mac Not that I know of. If you want to check, you could do a backup with Time Machine, enable/disable FileVault, and then use tmutil compare to see if any relevant-looking files have changed. But there's nothing I'm aware of. |

Setting up a special secondary display on iMac DisplayLink is unnecessary here, the iMac has 1 or 2 Thunderbolt ports that can be used as Mini-DisplayPort for external displays. I don't understand the question, it's just a matter of obtaining a display and plugging it in. Mini-DisplayPort adapters are cheap and readily available. |
