Help in finding files (.vimrc) in Mac I've tried it and then searched '.vimrc' or '.old_vimrc' and still didn't show up in Finder. |

Mimic TouchCursor movements on Mac Here's the private XML: dropbox.com/s/seykj7poubqgou6/private.xml. The only thing I notice is that there's some delay in the Spacebar keyup event that when you type too fast it doesn't seem to work. I mean, the Spacebar key can't catch up with your typing that you think that it doesn' work. I usually end up with words "joined/sticked" together. Ifyou know whatI mean as I'mtyping this. :D |

Mimic TouchCursor movements on Mac That's just fine. I'm currently playing with KeyRemap and it's Vim like settings. I was so used to TouchCursor back then that I can't go on without it. Even the author of the KeyRemap itself is giving me a custom settings to mimic the TouchCursor movements. |

Is my installation of Xcode correct? I'm not having problems with my Xcode. I just want to know if I installed it correctly because I didn't go through the App store. I opened the DMG file and then copied the Xcode app to my Applications folder and haven't seen some installation notes or progress. So that' why I'm wondering. :P |

Is my installation of Xcode correct? All I can see is just a progress bar on my Lion's Launchpad. Where can I see the time indicator of the download? |

Is my installation of Xcode correct? I didn't go to the App Store route because I didn't like the way it displays the progress of your download and I prefer to download using Safari so that I can see how many minutes remained in my download. When using the App store, little did I know that my download was not working because I needed to register first in Apple's Developer site. |

Repartition my existing hard disk I'll have to try this Lion Recovery Disk Assistant just as you have said. Currently I tried using the Recovery HD of my Mac and started to resize the current partition and added 3 ones, but the Disk Utility says that it can't unmount the disk. So therefore no resizing for me. I'm stuck with the whole 750GB HD of 1 partition only. I'll see if the Lion Recovery Disk Assistant using a USB will work. :D |

Reservations on buying a mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter You are right. The DVI to Mini Display port cord is too short right? So I need another extension cable for it. Hmmmmmm..... |

Reservations on buying a mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter Yes, it has a DVI port, but I still need to buy a DVI cord for that to work. I only have VGA as of now. I don't want to shell out money for a DVI cord. :P |

Repartition my existing hard disk Is it dangerous to resize my hard disk if I'm currently using it? Let's say for example that I don't have any spare USB drives and hard disk available, can I still resize hard disk while I'm currently using it? |

Detect installed applications (software dev) on OS X Lion I think I have ruby installed as I'm playing with the Interactive Ruby on the Terminal but it didn't show up with I've done the procedure you're talking about. Hmmm, I might check up again just to make sure. |

Detect installed applications (software dev) on OS X Lion I wanted to find out what programs or tools that were installed in my OS X Lion, especially ones that are related to web development? I was asking myself this questions: "This this already have Apache installed or not?", "Is MySQL already installed here", "What about Ruby?". I was assuming these questions because of my experience on some Linux installations were these tools are bundled with the installation of the OS. |
