Started developing on an Apple II+ in 1981. Developed PISA, full colour presentation system including slide and print output, utilising Apple Graphics Tablet and Digisolve VGP64 with hi-res monitor. Developed printer drivers for most early colour printers and slide recorders. Developed StudioCraft presentation software for colour Macs. Retired to farm, build and raise children in 1991. Took up developing again in 2010 on iOS when I saw the need for a music player that was more suited to stage performers than iTunes App. Developed OneTrack App and released version 1.0 in 2011. Still have too many things on my plate to develop full time but OneTrack is now at version 2 and going strong. Not a huge market but very loyal customers and loads of positive feedback so I'll keep going. Hope to develop more for iPad in future.

comment iPad battery level doesn't increase when in use while charging
iPads need a fair bit more power than standard USB ports are able to dole out. If you are using multiple USB devices, using a hub, or plugging in to the keyboard then you will only get a trickle. To get a full charge you need to use the iPad's suplied wall-wart or else get a powered USB hub than has a higher rated output.

comment How to synchronize contents of two external drives?
@Szabolcs Yes it does, I use it to keep an exact copy of folders from my hard drive over an ethernet connection to my wife's computer. If I delete files then sync they are deleted on her computer as well. You also get a preview of what files will be copied and which ones will be deleted before you commit to it.

comment How to access the full capacity of hard drives larger than 2TB with OS X Yosemite?
As @tubedogg has pointed out, any Mac User can access drives larger than 2TB, the question you should be asking is whether a Mac can access a Windows formatted drive greater than 2TB.

comment What files do I need to remove to wipe every trace of iTunes from my Mac filesystem?
Perhaps you need to explain your problem. Why do you need to 'delete every possible file'? What problem are you encountering when just reinstalling iTunes?

I'd just take it back to the store you bought it from as it is still under warranty.

comment Can I make iOS 8 look like iOS 6?
You could just buy an older iOS device that won't run iOS 7 or 8.

I've also found that doing a Print to PDF then Save does work with single page PDF merging after you've dragged them into the new PDF

The key combination is cmd - ` rather than cmd - ~. Perhaps on your keyboard these symbols are not on the same key?

comment Is there any way to access the console logs on an iOS 8 device without installing Xcode?
Hmmm - sorry about that @odysseus - it appears PhoneView doesn't! I use it all the time for other stuff and just assumed it did.
