Started developing on an Apple II+ in 1981. Developed PISA, full colour presentation system including slide and print output, utilising Apple Graphics Tablet and Digisolve VGP64 with hi-res monitor. Developed printer drivers for most early colour printers and slide recorders. Developed StudioCraft presentation software for colour Macs. Retired to farm, build and raise children in 1991. Took up developing again in 2010 on iOS when I saw the need for a music player that was more suited to stage performers than iTunes App. Developed OneTrack App and released version 1.0 in 2011. Still have too many things on my plate to develop full time but OneTrack is now at version 2 and going strong. Not a huge market but very loyal customers and loads of positive feedback so I'll keep going. Hope to develop more for iPad in future.

comment Mac OS X Application to Float a Window in Front of Others
Afloat is getting negative reviews on MacUpdate with Mountain Lion and Mavericks. SnappyApp on the MacAppStore is a great free alternative.

comment Keynote - need individual letter graphics that can be moved/manipulated to create words on slide
You want the 'action' tab in the Build Inspector. When this is selected and you select your text box you should get a ghost image connected by an umbilical cord to your text box - drag this to wherever you want it. You might also check out manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/Keynote09_UserGuide.pdf‎ if you haven't already. Page 118 describes the Action Tab

Sorry, Text Box is the term. Just follow these steps 1. create a new text box and replace the default text with the letter A. 2. Deselect this text box by tapping elsewhere in your view. 3. Select the A by tapping on it. 4. In the Build Inspector you can now move it, fade it, animate it, whatever.

comment PDF notes in Preview to EPUB?
Maybe do a print to pdf from preview then convert the resulting pdf. Not sure how often you'll be doing this and if it's worth the palaver.

comment Is line level Bluetooth audio possible with iPhone?
As bmike says, the signal coming out of your headphone port is (potentially) stronger than the 1volt peak to peak line level signal. To match this level it is usually best to set your iphone's volume to 70-80% of maximum. Your car stereo, unless it is faulty, should be able to take this signal and boost it to the same levels as your onboard radio etc.
