comment How to use the iPad wordpress app when blog runs iThemes Security
As stated in the question I'm using the iPad app "Wordpress". The plugin is set to require a secret word to access the admin area. There is no error per se, the iPad app simply does not see that there is a Wordpress installation at the address given.

I'm afraid I don't understand your answer. I can't even log in via the iOS app, because the app won't even connect to the blog. How to I allow it through the "secret word" login URL?

Interesting... I'm long past needing to do this, but the next time I have occasion to do so, I'll give this a shot. Thanks!

Aha, that would make sense. It seems that Filter Finder Items does too, in which case how on earth can I select only symlinks?

Interesting... yes your solution does return all files, but what I was doing was using Find Finder Items to attempt to specify symlinks only, and that's what doesn't see them at all. I may be able to work with this but do you have any idea why Find Finder Items cannot see symlinks?

LOL... ok what the hell, I'll mark it as accepted and risk the potential fallout. Thanks!

Actually about that... I'm not sure the protocol for this sort of situation. You were very helpful, but technically your suggestions weren't the solution, and if I accept your answer wouldn't that give the wrong impression to someone finding this question at a later date? Personally I'm happy to accept your answer just to say thanks, but it wouldn't technically be accurate. Not sure how to handle this...
