Have to reset the SMC on Retina Macbook Pro very often Yeah, that's why I've been trying to find a better soln. I did reset the PRAM, just before resetting the SMC for the first time. Unfortunately, without a fix, resetting the SMC everytime I want to play a game is very tiresome especially coz I have to restart the machine and reload tens of safari tabs :P |

Retina Macbook pro freezes when Notification centre is triggered I remember it happened when BTT wasn't installed. And it has happened once when I've clicked on NC's icon. I'll wait for it to happen another time and put see the console. Should I post the post reboot console log here? |

Retina MacBook Pro takes a long time to wake from sleep I'd just like to add that I'm using normal 'just sleep' mode since yesterday and everything works normally.Today when I woke the machine up after 10 hours or so, it was up before the lid was fully opened, just the way I like it. :) Also, this does not affect the 'Reopen windows when restarting' option. |

And I'll edit out this post, just thought they might be related so this could be relevant info. @ Lri, thanks for your suggestions. I actually did change the hibernate mode to 0 and that solved it. I'll post an answer describing it. |
