how to change music tonality in runtime? Just saw this post evolver.fm/2013/03/19/… and thought of your question... Haven't tried this myself but it looks like you might get close with Sunflower and AU Lab. |

Custom Local DNS entry ignored I see the same notice in man host and dig. Do you know if there is a command line utility that does not carry this restriction? |

Sync iPad & Dumbphone Contacts via Bluetooth? Some carriers allow you to back up your dumb phone address book and then edit the data through a web interface. My Verizon phone years ago had this feature. Wouldn't be a true sync but it would be better than t9 data entry. |

Which OS X programs can rapidly find and replace text in very large files? As a benchmark I just used BBEdit to do a simple find and replace on a 30MB text file. Was so fast it didn't have time to draw a progress bar. This is on a 2.9 Ghz i7 iMac. |

Which OS X programs can rapidly find and replace text in very large files? 7MB doesn't seem very large to me and 1 hour does seem like a long time. Is that compressed or uncompressed? Is the find and replace just that or are you using Regular Expressions? |

Duplicate Google Calendar Entries in iPad Calendar App Is that a public holiday calendar? If so, care to share the URL so we can better troubleshoot? |

Accessing file shares on other mac on macs with shared connections You basically want the Mac that is sharing its connection to do so in 'bridge' mode. As it is now it is acting as a dhcp server. Unfortunately I don't believe what you are trying to do is supported, tho there may be a hack. The "right" way to do this IMO would be to get a say, 8 port router and set it up in bridge mode. |
