comment Where does OS X get defaults from in Guest User Web access Parental Controls?
Sure but this is an OS X settings app, it must be pulling it from somewhere? Unless the Telegram app injected them there, but then the question remains: "injected where?".

comment I was physically robbed and now can't manage my Apple ID… how can I extract my purchases?
@AndrewU. I wiped the phone using FMI. However I cannot reset the password because I have two-step authentication on the account and my only two authentication methods were stolen.

I saw the family sharing thing, have yet to attempt this but I had the same idea. Are you sure that it shares both directions like that?

The fact that I cannot change the password means that this account is even less secure now. It is a design flaw when a system that is suppose to make things more secure makes them less secure.

comment Will a 1.8GHz MacBook Air be much faster than a 1.3GHz model?
FWIW the RAM cannot be upgraded on these so make sure you get the model that has as much as you'll ever want

I have yet to call developer support, I will try that soon. I am wondering if the security is such that not even anyone at Apple can access the account. Kind of like how a password can be hashed.
