comment Any way to have windows be restored to the correct space when opening an app?
I have a very different experience using "Reopen windows when logging back in". Do you ever leave windows open for apps other than Finder or Safari? In my experience all sorts of other windows, including terminal windows, windows from third party apps, TextEdit documents, and so on, would reopen at totally wrong an arbitrary spaces. It's really annoying, and bad enough that I never both to use the feature because it never restores my desktop to how it was before.

I am aware of that option, but with nearly every application I use, I often will have windows open across several different spaces, so it's not feasible for me to pin an app to just one space. Terminal.app is a good example of this. I tend to have at least one terminal window in half of all of my spaces.

comment How to use iTunes Match with two user accounts on the same computer?
Wow! It worked! How arbitrary... I wonder why Apple made things work this way? It's a total pain, but thank goodness you posted this answer. Otherwise I would have made some totally convoluted script or something to try to sync my iTunes library on to another computer and have it automatically update or something ridiculous like that, and it probably would've taken hours and hours and wouldn't have ever worked anyway. Thanks! :-)

I've thought about this, but iTunes needs to stay open in order to have iTunes match run in the background and upload any new music. I don't think iTunes can handle live updates to the music library. I could have it periodically quit and relaunch iTunes when the libraries get synced, but that interrupts the iTunes Match process, and for whatever reason, it takes forever for it to fully match any new music. Sometimes as long as a couple of days.

I did look into that, actually. It seems family sharing does not include iTunes Match, so unfortunately it's no help here.
