@jaume Alright here is what I got: Jan 25 21:30:18 Brahmis-Mac.local installer[8946] <Debug>: fileURLForURL = x-disc://Silverlight/Silverlight.pkg Jan 25 21:30:18 Brahmis-Mac.local installer[8946] <Debug>: fileURLForURL = file://localhost/Volumes/Silverlight/Silverlight.pkg installer: Cannot install on volume / because it is disabled. installer: A newer version of this software already exists on this disk. Pretty much the same thing I get when I double click and try installing the package through the Wizard.

Given that there are only 2 models, does this mean that the Model A1460 is sold on Sprint and Verizon? If so why even bother to mention the carriers separately?

comment Can not open Mail app since I updated the last version of Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
If you happen to live in the vicinity of an Apple Store, I suggest you take it there and save yourself some trouble. Here is something I found online that you can give a try:1. Download Pacifist.(charlessoft.com) 2. Re-download the Mountain Lion installer (if it was deleted). 3 . Use Pacifist to re-install Mail.app (EssentialSystemSoftware > EssentialSystemSoftwareGroup > Essentials.pkg > Applications > Mail.app). Credit: modelmayhem.com/po.php?thread_id=853200

I would buy the Verizon version in a heart beat, but the only let down is the lack of simultaneous voice and data on LTE :(

Thanks! I share your sentiments on that last line of yours. I am assuming then, that LTE is the only global issue. I would still be able to use 3G or HSPA globally right?

@Samuel I apologize. The only reason I consolidated was due to how closely the questions tied into each other.

Is the Office suite up to date? You might want to check for updates and check to see if the issue still exists?
