How to fully 'uninstall' an app on OS X From experience, the most common place apps leave files behind in is ~/Library/Application Support/AppName or /Library/Application Support. Preference files are stored in ~/Library/Preferences. |

Preferences/General - How do I get it to save in Lion? I would check ~/Library/ and ~/Library/Preference's permissions so you can read and write, because that's where all the preferences are stored. |

Unable to resize Lion partition Disk Utility does not allow you to resize upwards (because of partition boot metainfo things being located at the beginning of partitions). I personally have to make a new partition and use Carbon Copy Cloner to move the original up, then delete the original. |

iOS 4 - Can I close an app without it staying open in the background? Another way to put it is that it is kind of like a "history" of what apps were used. With some "multitasking" involved. Just saying :D |
