If I only have SMB2 enabled I still see the shares in the sidebar and they auto mount as SMB2, so somewhere there is a priority setting.

I'm using cutedgesystems.com/software/MailServeSnow I know I could probably dick around and get dovecot to use a normal mailstore, but I thought this might be easier as my system is already working.

Not an option, the users must have proper directories for my email backups to work.
