one line of code at a time...

 Who am I?

A Greece-based programmer (intermittently acting as a web developer), former Med student (currently a CS undergrad at the University of Piraeus) and Mac convert, who adores any coding challenge and has been in love with the Art of Code since he was a 8-year-old kid.

  • XSudoku - (Delphi – Win)
  • Many, many more - either lost, or forgotten, or whatever...

 Current Position :

Chief Software Architect & CEO @ InSili.co

comment Complete Specs for Mid-2010 iMac & Early-2011 MacBook Pro?
Thanks for the info, though I've already had a look at Apple's resources, which surprisingly omit the exact CPU models. (Please, have a look at my answer, to see what I mean). As for whether CPUs are replaceable, I've seen quite a lot of people saying they did it, so I'll guess I'll have another look around...

This is a great answer. That's how I'm going to do it. Actually, I discovered that option-clicking the Purchases tab did the trick (a secret shortcut?) and Lion does appear under my purchases so that I download it to my Snow Leopard OS X. Thanks a lot, buddy! :-)

@Ermiar I understand that. Any ideas where it might be on-topic? I really can't find an answer to this, anywhere...

@MehdiHadjar Yep, I had changed it at some point. However, note that my issue exists even with an ethernet cable, huh?

comment Xcode 4 and Snow Leopard
Well, I'm using my MacBook for Lion-testing and my iMac for SnowLeopard-testing, so it's quite a relief I will now be able to get a little bit up-to-date with my iMac machine as well. Thanks again! :-)

OK, OK. I just figured out what was going wrong. Pretty stupid of me. You were 100% right. I was just logged in with the first-first username I was using (a tiny variation of it actually, too unnoticeable...) before being registered in the paid programs. (As for the Developer Programs, yep; they are separate; 99$/year each. I am registered for both of them, although I'm mainly a Mac developer.) Thanks A LOT! :-)

I am registered iOS and Mac developer, but I still cannot find any link for Xcode 4.2 for Snow Leopard (is it even supported? I am not 100% sure). All I found is for Lion. Any ideas or specific links to point me to?
