comment Make the green full screen window icon on Yosemite maximize windows
@Jeff You're confusing maximize and zoom. OS X has never had maximize, but some apps define zoom to be maximize.

comment New terminal to same directory
Terminal does know your directory. The shell reports to Apple Terminal whenever directory changes; the code that enables this is in /etc/bashrc.

comment Can't assign keyboard shortcut to service
Is the file writable (has w in -rw-------)? You can also try to run "Repair Disk Permissions" via Disk Utility for the whole startup disk.

comment Keyboard shortcut to change tabs in terminal not working anymore in yosemite
There are default Cmd+Shift+']' shortcuts for changing tabs, shared by all tab-based Mac apps (Safari, Xcode, etc.), since at least 10.8, why would you make your own ones for Terminal?

@Arjan Those are temporary problems of applications with non-standard window designs that were made before Yosemite. They will be fixed soon.
