comment Is there a shortcut for activating Low Power Mode in iOS 9?
Yes, and NightShift got one which is something I (and perhaps I'm alone) would likely use less as I'm just leaving it automatic.

I think we will need more information. How are you "kicking" him? When he hacks into your conversation, do the messages appear like he is sending from your device?

I absolutely agree that VMs are the best approach. That is something that I think the Mac really does well with. If you just need a simple box to run a CMS or something, Homestead is probably the easiest and quickest way to do that.

HTTP's default port is 80 (TLS is 443), so I would estimate that you had configuration set up to work with port 80. Browsers will load port 80 without showing you that is the case. If you set up your Vhost for anything other than port 80 (again, unless you have a different scheme), then you will need to specific direct the browser to that.

Keep in mind that you have to go to site.local:8080 (with the 8080) in there or it won't work. Also, is it index.php or index.html that you are serving from your document root? If it is PHP, you need to set up PHP to parse the files and then configure Apache to let PHP parse files with .php. Course MAMP should be doing most of that for you.

comment How do I delete something only on my device and still preserve it in cloud?
@alexkent, to summarize my above comment and my answer: optimize device storage works well until you want to disable it.

comment How to have arrows for moving the cursor right and left when writing text on iPad?
@NicolasBarbulesco, with iOS 9 I believe Apple brought an alternate way to edit text to the iPad. I think arrow keys could potentially pose a problem is the user accidentally taped one, and perhaps that would be accentuated while typing two handed? Also with the advent of so many 3rd party keyboards, I'm wouldn't be surprised if there is one with arrow keys.

@alexkent you nailed it. As I described, it has its place, and works quite well while enabled but I personally am not a fan of something like this that becomes near impossible to disable. I think that comes from the fact that (1) Apple doesn't make it clear that it could happen, and (2) Apple hasn't made a way to easily disable it. Consequently a user could enable it and unknowingly get roped into paying for a large amount of iCloud storage every month.
