comment Is there a replacement for Rosetta in Lion?
@Fred: No, Rosetta not tied very deeply in the OS. It's all userland. And if I would like to find alternatives to some PPC apps, I would open another question for that, but here, I really want to know about possibilities to run PPC binaries.

Yea but that is also not my question. I really want to run PPC code (or know about that here).

comment simplest way to open all images in a directory in Finder
The first is much too complicated and annoying. The second is way to slow and also too complicated (I have to click that it should only search in the current directory and also that it should search only by filename). But the third sounds interesting. Can you give more details how to do that?

Not exactly what I wanted (because it is not Preview.app but the Finder internal preview) but works better than all other solutions. Still, there is no easy way to get from this preview to the real Preview.app (not for a single picture but for all pictures in the directory).

comment iPhone: how to see if GPS is working
It would put me into the right street even if GPS is not working, just based on the other location services (mobile cellular data, WLAN data).

comment iPhone: how to see if GPS is working
Exactly. In some situations, it is becoming smaller and smaller but I think I have never seen it going away since then. But how can I know if it is just a bad/no GPS signal or if GPS is really not working at all?
