comment Boot Camp on new Mac Pro
@furier yeah, I have absolutely no idea. However, beware, I'm not sure if it was this approach, something else I tried, or one of my ThunderBolt peripherals, but now I get CPU kernel panics when the machine goes to sleep. A fully replaced logic board did not help. I installed an app called caffeine to alleviate the issue, but it is annoying having to be sure it is turned on every time I walk away from the computer.

Thanks, but this just led to a different, similarly useless error message during install: "Windows could not prepare the computer to boot into the next phase of installation. To install Windows, restart the installation.".

comment How to exclude Mail messages from Finder search?
@MrRabbit Yeah, that's the challenge, I still want to be able to search in Outlook, but I don't want Finder/Spotlight searches to mix 5,000 e-mail messages with 20 files.
