How do I remove GarageBand? He might also want to delete the loops dir "/Library/Audio/Apple Loops", per this discussion. Quote: "That will leave GB without loops, but still capable of recording audio." I haven't tested it myself. |

How can I remove the Finder icon from my Dock? Will this break the code signing of the Dock, per Stevetech's answer? |

Where is MySQL installed for the included Apache server? Yeah, what I meant is "in Mac OS X client version (= not in Mac OS X server version)". |

Where is MySQL installed for the included Apache server? @Toph. See also apple.com/opensource which is the list of open-source software that is preinstalled on Mac OS X. As you can see, MySQL is not there, while there are PostgreSQL and SQLite, with the latter only in Mac OS X client version (= not in server version). |

Where can I find a list of MAMPs? It says "not for production use". :/ Any others? |

How can I know whether MySQL, SQLite, PostgreSQL, etc. are installed on Mac OS X 10.7? Thank you very much. And thank you to ughoavgfhv, too. I have the client version, installed no one of them, and needed to know whether any of them came preinstalled with the OS. I was in doubt because PHP & Apache ARE preinstalled instead. |
