comment Does anybody know an email client for iOS that is password protected?
Doesn't answer the question. Question asks for an email client, not an html browser. This is more of a work-around IF your provider happens to have a good mobile front end...

comment How can I AirDrop my photos and videos from my iPhone5 to my MacBook Pro Retina?
So AirDrop, isn't AirDrop when it's called AirDrop. What fun! This is like Pizza being called a vegetable...

comment Time Machine backup to Airport Extreme AirDisk
@TJLuoma: YMMV, agreed but I've been using it for over a year on 3 machines - no problem at all. I also restored a Macbook from the backup when Mavericks (OS 10.9) came out.

comment Any ideas why my Airport Extreme identifies itself as a Time Capsule in Time Machine?
I actually did just that! That is, setup a freshly formatted disk to the AEBS and time machine picked it up without a problem. In fact the screenshot shows it making the first backup just after formatting and pointing it to time machine!

comment Time Machine backup to Airport Extreme AirDisk
@Richard: I've heard them spin up when I use them, so I guess they do spin down. I don't know what the idle timeout might be etc. However, from what I understand, spin down is a function of the external drive, not the AEBS itself.

any idea why its allowing me to do the backups? I updated the question too - appears TM thinks its backing to a time capsule!? Weird!
