Yes. Mountain Lion is the platform, that and iOS. User and device management will be big, and I'm trying to become well versed enough to know when I can treat the os like BSD, and when I can't, which seems to be user management and iOS.

I can not fault your sentiment at all. Gmail works though. That's the thing, because your data is gonna get sold regardless. Google does not care what you do as long as you look at the ads. Apple wants to control the user experience. Gmail does work well though.
