Why can't I open DMG files which reside on a read-only NFS filesystem? @jaume Hm. /private/var/netboot is a mounted AFP share, and root has access to it. I can touch /private/var/netboot/Library-Shadow perfectly fine... and if I try to place the shadow file anywhere else it still fails... |

Why can't I open DMG files which reside on a read-only NFS filesystem? @jaume Apologies for the delay. I have added all the information you requested. I don't have a 10.8 system to test on, I'm running 10.7. Maybe this is an issue which was fixed in 10.8... |

Why can't I open DMG files which reside on a read-only NFS filesystem? @jaume the NFS server is a FreeNAS (FreeBSD) server. I'll add those items to the question tomorrow. |
