Geek with irrational dreams and countless crazy ideas. I code (Java stuff), love all things Internet, and play electric guitar (it’s arctic white, and I suck).

To-Do List App with Sync, Repeating To-Dos Wunderlist does not have recurring tasks, Wunderkit does. And talking about getting an account - your priority feature is cloud syncing with online access. You need an account for that. |

Why does deleting a Mac OS X app leaves its shortcut in the Launchpad? Thanks for a very informative reply. If Launchpad uses the Spotlight index, then rebuilding it could indeed help. I'll try that out as well, and report back. Oh, and +1 for the command line suggestion, I just learned something new! |

Why does deleting a Mac OS X app leaves its shortcut in the Launchpad? Interesting. It that is indeed the case, it is not very user-friendly (for it is only possible to remove apps directly from Launchpad when these apps are downloaded from the Mac App Store). I'll play around with my apps later on and see if these shortcuts disappear after logging out or restarting the Launchpad process. Thanks! |
