comment Is there a way to know which rule filtered an email?
Yes, I hate spam. Yes, I have an email that I put on the inbox. I quit mail.app. When I run mail.app again the mail is back to the trash.

Sorry, you were typing your answer at the same time I was changing the question to be generic, when I realized that on kindlegen. Anyway I have this problem with other scripts, so I transformed the question into a generic one. Sorry about that.

wow, that is fantastic but won't the installers enable their jobs again if I need to run them again? (in case of a update, for example)

comment Can ghost app updates be cleared in OS X?
1) unfortunately when I try to install the app, so I can remove it after that, I see an error: "unknown error" and the app is not download. All other apps can be installed, just twitter appears to be crapped. 2) there's no copy of this app on the computer or in any external disk. 3) I have rebuilt the index. 4) app continues to arrogantly sitting there...

comment Command-W not working correctly on Safari
AHA! That phrase of yours "applications intercepting it", lighted a bulb in my brain! That's it. I have installed an upgrade of Better Touch Tool that was using CMD W and crapping Safari!!! /&%#/&%#$!!!! Thanks

comment Command-W not working correctly on Safari
When I first detected this problem the behavior of safari was this: CMD W did not close any tab or window. THen I went to this window and added an entry for Close Tab as CMD W. Now If I have a safari window with multiple tabs, CMD close the tabs. When all tabs are closed and I am with just one safari window without tabs, CMD W does nothing. In the past, CMD W would close all tabs than the window where there was not more tabs to close.
