comment Mail attachment quarantined on iphone
I was hoping this was the case. I find it odd though that their security flagged this, it should be a pretty standard contract that they send to a large(ish) number of people so I don't know why mine would be flagged. Perhaps this is a common occurrence for them and they haven't bothered to fix it. I asked them to resend it to my gmail account. The attachment came through fine. Im not sure if they modified anything in the document or not. Perhaps just using a different mail server than iCloud made it work...

Its not a problem with corruption or incorrect formatting. I put the USB into another (newer) MacBook and can boot into it absolutely fine. This is a problem with my MacBook not being able to boot from USBs

comment Dual boot Kali with Mac
I also thought the rEFInd tool was only needed for booting into OSs that don't support EFI booting. Kali 1.0.8 does support it so would I need to use rEFInd?

I tried using rEFInd. If I boot into the Kali USB using rEFInd it gives a list of errors (all the same): Error: not found from LocateDevicePath and it tells me to press any key to continue, which takes me back to the rEFInd menu.
