how would I set the default web browser for the root user I run two instances of Skype and launch one from the terminal via Sudo. I suppose one safer solution would be to make a 'Skype' user and launch under them after loging in and setting the default browser but I was curious how to set the browser for the root user. |

how would I set the default web browser for the root user I tried moving my user ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.LaunchServices.plist file into the root Library/Preferences folder which had no com.apple.LaunchServices.plist file and restarting but no luck.
I run two copies of Skype and have to launch one through the terminal in order to run them together thus one opens links in Safari which I dont like to use. |

Should I get a SATA 3Gb/s or 6Gb/s hard drive for my MBP? Yea I have seen the OWC conversions. What I'm weighing is the awesome performance of the SSD in my MacBook Air 11 vs. having a ton of space with say a 750gig 7500rpm in a Pro. |
