MacBook Pro freezes with beachball on login (OS 10.7 Lion) Did not work for me. It turned out that the cause of my issues was Sophos Anti-virus. Uninstalling it made the problem go away (while changing the graphics switching did not). |

How can I create or recreate a Lion recovery partition? "The Lion Recovery Disk Assistant lets you create Lion Recovery on an external drive that has the same capabilities and limitations as the built-in Lion Recovery." Not quite - with 10.7.2 you won't be able to enable "Find My Mac" if you don't have an "internal" revovery HD |
