comment How do I simulate a bad Wi-Fi connection on my iPad?
It does, but it's very complicated (IMO) and not very reliable (AIMO).

comment How to use SSL tunnelling on OS X to give full internet access to some applications while you are on a restricted corporate network?
Please be aware that doing this is a security risk, and if you are seen bypassing corporate firewalls (especially with torrent sites), you can get into serious trouble.

That is the answer. It keeps dropping the connection because you have a hidden SSID.

comment Installing Windows XP into Boot Camp under Lion
Vertically only??? That's a new one. I do know, however, that Lion does not officially support BC with anything other than Win7. This includes keyboard and mouse drivers as well. Is there an accessibility button on the screen? Perhaps you can tab to that, press space to select, and get an on-screen keyboard.

Open Terminal and type ssh [your_username]@[imac_web_ip] and press enter. If it asks you to allow an encryption code, type yes and press enter, then enter your username and password.

Can you copy and paste the Disk Utility log file contents into your question? You can view the log file by pressing Command + L while in Disk Utility.

That's something different... (and probably something you should've included in your question). Have you rebooted the computer in question?

Press and hold <kbd>Command</kbd> + <kbd>V</kbd> while you start up your computer until you see the verbose screen (lots of white text on a black background). If you see any errors happening there, can you post them in your question?

When you took it out the last time you used it, did you eject it first (right click and select Eject)?
