Long time developer in lots of different fields on different hardware using different languages for different reasons.
Greatly enjoying Ruby, Sequel, Nokogiri, Rails, Sinatra/Padrino, and thinking Python is perversely interesting, similar to pulling off a scab. :-)
I have years and year of experience with Perl too.

How to perform cleanup duties on OS X? You'll find that Mac OS, like other *nix-based systems, can run and run with a minimum of fuss. Apple's "It just works" comment really is based on customer feedback, it's not just advertising blather. |

How to perform cleanup duties on OS X? Run the Disk Utility after any software installation, including Apple's software updates. It will reset file permissions in case they somehow changed from Apple's expected settings. Also, be aware that Apple pre-installs Ruby, Perl and Python. Don't replace those as Apple actually uses them. |

Can a 60W MagSafe power adapter work interchangeably on a Macbook Pro that “requires” an 85W adapter? What makes a difference isn't the age or model of the power-supply, it's whether the supply puts out sufficient power. |
