Setting up Airport Base Station with Uverse AND Sprint Airave LAN settings might be where this is breaking down. I'm confused as to the manual configuration of LAN TCP/IP Setup. Screenshot below. the IP fields (blocked out) are all manual, I can set them to whatever values I want. I can set something else as the DMZ Server, but what? And I don't think I want the Airave to be a DHCP Server. I've tried giving the Airport a reserved IP, set that IP as the DMZ server, and then turning off "Use Router as DHCP Server". I wasn't able to get an internet connection on the Airport. I think it still had the "LAN TCP/IP" settings, though. |

Setting up Airport Base Station with Uverse AND Sprint Airave The 2wire has wireless turned off and the only thing plugged in is the Airave, which is config'd in the DMZplus. Bad wording I know, sorry. I confirmed this is working, I see the public IP as the IP for the Airave. What (I think) is failing, is pushing the DMZ setting to the Airport, so that it has the public IP. I'm not really sure how to config the WAN and LAN settings of the Airave in order to do this. Currently, WAN is set to get IP from DHCP. See screenshot below. This IP is the same as the public IP coming into the ATT 2Wire, so I assume this is working properly. |

How to create new message in iChat without sending, using Automator to grab selected text Interestingly, in a workaround, using the two buddies will almost always use with 'send input to "buddy@me.com"', i get a working service. it is available in Safari for a URL, but it is not available in Reeder.app as a service for anything. It doesn't show in the context menu, it doesn't show up in Reeder > Services. Odd. Is this a Reeder issue? I noticed that my service is in "Internet" category in Services Manager...I would still rather have a blank iMessage with a URL in the text, so that I can amend if I want. |

Is it possible to have bash escape spaces in pwd? @lhf yes, piping to copy, it works. I failed to explain the crux of the problem: cd `pbpaste` gives me an unescaped space, and hence, cd doesn't recognize the directory. And, you're right, it doesn't matter the terminal emulator. I don't know what I was thinking earlier, because it doesn't work any better in Terminal. Must not have had a space. |

Is there a way to add reminder item to shared list in iCal? @bmike - Currently running trials for QuickCal and Fantastical. I love the hotkey adds in QuickCal, it's the Quicksilver plugin I always wanted, but Fantastical is much prettier for calendaring/looking at a schedule. Perhaps I'll try BusyCal and add it into the mix. |

Is it possible to have bash escape spaces in pwd? @lhf Yes, should have checked in Terminal, which works as you stated. No luck in iTerm2, though. Maybe I should switch back... |
