Coming out of screen-lock, sometimes my machine will sleep/lock 30 seconds after I don't have TRIM enabled. Just an OCZ Vertex 4 with no special tweaks. |

Coming out of screen-lock, sometimes my machine will sleep/lock 30 seconds after I have the same issue from time to time. Mine first appeared when i upgraded to an SSD and installed Mountain Lion, but i have never managed to work out which of these are the cause. I suspect it's a power management issue with the 3rd party SSD. |

Issues with installing SSD instead of DVD drive? Can you share the websites that mention the issues with sleep and hibernation? I have my SSD in the optical bay, but get a weird wake-from-sleep bug that i haven't seen mentioned elsewhere. |

Is installing a HDD instead of SuperDrive safe? I agree with all of these except battery life. I get much worse battery life since I added an SSD and moved the hard drive to the optical bay. The performance increase more than makes up for it though (for me) |
