@bmike The site I listed indeed doens't depend on the faked ".google.com" certicates but they did came from the same company, the company which also got hacked at least twice.

When setting the certificate to "Never Trust" i get the expected result from both Safari as Chrome. They both throws a warning.

@bmike It appears Chrome does use the Keychain to manage its certificates because Keychain is launched when choosing "Manage certficates" from the Preferences menu option.

True, but because the “Staat der Nederlanden root CA" was issued by the same company, DigiNotar, I decided to revoke it as well.
