How to get out a stuck cd out of my mac mini (not the actual model the one from 2010? (slot-in drive) I've done a similar thing with a credit card. I slipped a corner of the card (not the whole thing! You don't want to lose that too) into the slot and under the CD. I then tried to eject the CD. The mechanism was able to guide the CD over whatever obstruction was there, up onto the credit card, and out the slot. |

App to empty trash on a single drive GEdgar, care to explain how Cocktail answers my question? I downloaded it (from the link you found, thanks!). But I don't see any mechanisms to clear the trash (easily missed, this thing has dozens of options). I see a button to Force Empty the trash, but that is only on the system disk. Certainly don't see anything that I easily get to. |

App to empty trash on a single drive Honest Answer: Because I want to recover space on a USB stick (and thus need to empty the trash while it is mounted) but don't want to empty the trash on my main volume (because I'm afraid of needing to recover something from my recently-worked on set of files). |

How does Keynote decide which display to appear on? I obviously wasn't clear enough with my question. I'm not asking how to control the presentation when the slideshow starts. I'm asking how to control which screen the application starts on when initially launched. |

How does Keynote decide which display to appear on? Dan, this isn't the presentation problem. I actually mean that the app opens on the "secondary" display when it is started. Not when I start the presentation. |
