HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a widely used interface for transmitting audio and video signals between devices and displays. While, as of early 2012, the Mac Mini is the only Apple computer currently being manufactured with a built-in HDMI port (other Apple hardware using or Thunderbolt for video input / output), HDMI remains a popular standard for high-definition televisions and other devices.

Questions should be tagged if they involve a Mac Mini's HDMI output, or a need to interoperate Apple hardware with an HDMI-equipped device.
