Running 10.8.3 on MBP with two external displays (TB-connected HDMI for the first external and USB/j5-connected HDMI to the second).

With my mouse NOT in a corner and while typing, my screensaver kicks in at regular intervals. As soon as the screensaver activates, it shuts off due to my typing, so I just see it flash on and off unless I've paused work at the time.

I've read that this is a common problem with external displays on MBP, but I'm trying to figure out if this is something that I can fix or if I have to give up on external display use...

Some what related but on an earlier version. apple.stackexchange.com/questions/42744/… –  Tony Mar 26 '13 at 19:28

Borderline, I could disable the screensaver, but that would not address the bug. More importantly, I really want to be able to turn on screen LOCKING, but I can't as long as this bug is still happening. –  ajscogo Mar 26 '13 at 19:39

Tony, thanks. I did find that previous question, but it was marked "protected" so I couldn't ask there. The only response in that thread is advice on how to turn off the screensaver, which doesn't help me. –  ajscogo Mar 26 '13 at 19:40
