I have three displays:
- Primary: CRT 1280 x 1024 (5:4 landscape)
- Secondary: LCD 1200 x 1900 (10:16 portrait)
- Tertiary: LCD 1920 x 1200 (16:10 landscape)
The displays work fine. No issues with the hardware. Computer: Mac Pro 5,1 24 GB Ram ATI Radeon HD 5770, 5 internal disks, 2 external. OS Snow Leopard 10.6.8
If Aperture is started on Primary, then both secondary and tertiary become alternate montitors, showing the same images.
If Aperture is started on Secondary, then Tertiary becomes the alternate monitor. (Actually Secondary and tertiary show the same images, but Secondary is hidden by the main Aperture panel. You can see this by reducing the main Aperture window to less than full screen)
Now comes the clinker: I need to run Keynote on Tertiary. I want to run Aperture on Primary and secondary ONLY.
Yes, I can shuffle my monitors so that Primary is not on the CRT, but for other reasons I don't want to do that.
So: How do I tell Aperture to ignore the third monitor?
