I just connected a Mac external monitor (touch screen) to my MacBook Pro.

After spending awhile calibrating it to my liking, I thought I was ready to use it. I notice that when I tap the touch screen, the "clicking" works, but I can not move the mouse by clicking another area. How do I fix this?

OS: Mountain Lion 10.8.2

Display: Tru Vu

Please amend your question and add your OS X version, and brand and model of the 3rd party touch screen-capable monitor. That'll encourage answers from others who know. –  Global nomad Mar 9 '13 at 5:19
