I'm trying to fix an important issue we are having with my juniper VPN. There are no issues with PC connecting to VPN from any Microsoft OS.. just with some Apple computers running OSX 10.8.2...
So it's a Juniper VPN based running Citrix when logged on. So the user must install Citrix and Java. Mac OS has a built-in TS client but this is not functionning with this. In the Citrix UI, where we launch applications from there (Outlook, Acrobat, Office suite.. etc..).
I need to go in Preferences -> Connection Preference to change the default Apple TS client to load for Java Client. There, it works, Microsoft Outlook can be loaded.
My issue is when I change it for Java and I logout or reboot, when I come back in, the Java client is not set as default anymore. So I deleted the com.citrix.receiver.nomas.plist in "/Users/Username/Library/Preferences" but still, Java client is not set as default.
Is there anyway to force Java to be set as the default client for any remote/VPN connection made from an Apple computer?
