Fairly recently all print jobs are very slow. It appears that each page is being sent as a separate print job. I have seen other people complain about this over quite a long period, typically on Lion. I am on Mountain Lion.

What is causing this?

First try to sort out where in the printing chain the problem is coming from. Restart the printer and run a test sheet direct on printer (slow?). Change USB cables (if that's what you're using). Print from another application. Reinstall driver (make sure driver is compatible with OS). – Richard Feb 27 at 11:57
