A bought a brand new SSD and installed it into my 2012 macbook pro. I enabled TRIM support right after that and realized that my external usb 3 drive is no longer mounted. When I disable the trim support the drive gets mounted automatically without any issues. I tried different ways how to enable the TRIM support but the same thing repeats over and over again.

I use OSX 10.8.2 Build 12C3103.

Any ideas why?
