I am trying to share contacts through text messages just as I used to do with my iphone 3 but I do not know the correct taps and/or gestures to do this.

How did you do this on your iPhone 3? –  Mark Feb 21 '13 at 11:57

The easiest way for sending contact to another person is through the Contacts App. Just tap on the contact you want to share and you'll see the details for that person. At the bottom of the page is a button "Share Contact". There you can either choose to send this through a Message or email.

That does not work.on the iphone. 5s you cannot share a contact. It says you can but when you hit send it dissapears into thin air and does not even show up in your sent log. I just bought this iphone 5s and i am going to sell it And buy the Galaxy 4s.
