I have a jailbroken iphone 4 running 6.1. I accidentally installed a incompatible jailbroken app and as a result had to restore my phone. When I got it back up to the set up iphone part of the process, I chose to restore from a backup I made yesterday after I did a clean wipe and upgrade to iOS 6, instead of setting it up as a new phone.
Anyway, since I did that, I have had two separate popups for apple ID passwords at random times. One is my old ID from years ago, the other I have no idea. It seems vaguely familiar but it is definitely not one that I have ever used.
Finally, my question: Is there any way to scrub all apple IDs off my phone without restoring it again? As I mentioned, I am jailbroken so if that involves going into the filesystem, so be it.
I reset all settings (via
Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings) and re-logged in with with my apple ID, and so far it has not asked me for other accounts. I will post back with updates, if necessary.
