I want to use iCloud the iCloud email servers for my email but I want to use my own domain name. Is there a way to send an email from patrick@mydomain.com and have it come directly from the iCloud servers?

Also, when someone replies to patrick@mydomain.com, is there a way to have the iCloud server receive that email without having to forward it from another email service provider?

Can I point my MX records to the iCloud servers for mydomain.com and be done with it?

I'd guess this isn't possible (without looking fully into it). I do know Google Apps for Business works like this, and works really well. It is unfortunate that they have started charging recently. It used to be free for <=10 accounts. It supports push mail, and is IMAP. – bassplayer7 Feb 7 at 17:31
