I want to buy a smartphone and use it for gaming as well as general usage. Is the iPhone the best one?

This is a very subjective question, could you elaborate with for example what types of games are you wanting to play..For sheer numbers the iOS app store probably has the most games from any of the smartphone platforms but if the games you want aren't there then its pointless how many other there are – Kevin Jan 30 at 12:17

Simply put, Yes. It has if not the best graphics processor across most smartphones.
