I own following multipurpose device: Brother MFC-9840CDW All in One Printer.
It does support direct OCR over Wi-Fi that can be initiated right from the onscreen display on device (scan -> send to -> OCR).
Brother suggest to use some software called ScanSoft PaperPort 11SE with this feature, but to my knowledge this is just PC software.
I do not have particular software preference, for now I just would like to make this feature work on Mac so that it would create searchable PDF's for me with support of slovak language.
