I have an iPhone 5 (White, 64 GB) GSM version running iOS 6.0.2. It is factory unlocked and I bought it from India

1) The battery life is bad 2) I don't see Nike+iPod App pre-installed on it

What might be the possible reason? And what are the possible remedies?

Should I do a restore?

Please limit your question to one problem at a time. You can post multiple questions if necessary. Without telling us what battery life you are experiencing there's no way to judge if anything is abnormal or not. You need to explicitely enable the Nike+ app in the iPhone settings. – Gerry Jan 28 at 10:15

Check your

  • Settings.app -> Privacy -> Location Services -> System Services and disable those not useful to you. I disable all of them.
  • Settings.app -> Notifications and disable those not used by you.
