I greatly enjoy using Personal Hotspot on an iPhone I have, but while the USB options is stable, I find that WiFi disappears after a while when not in use.

Because I use an iPhone as hotspot, and another iOS device as client, the client turns off after a while (standby) and, as a consequence, it appears that the hotspot 'server' turns off too.

After a few minutes I pick up the iOS client device only to find out that the link is inactive; I then have to reach the iPhone (hotspot server), turn off personal hotspot, turn it on again, then reach the client, wait for it to connect again or, in some cases, turn wifi off/on to force the issue.

Is there a way to make the personal hotspot service permanent, especially when the device is charging?
