I'd some music and movies/TV shows on my iPhone 5 running iOS 6.0.2. After a usual Wi-Fi sync, all of those music and movies/TV shows got deleted. Although my books, apps and other stuff are intact.

This problem happened once before actually. Exactly the same issue. Back then I couldn't find any solution to this most irritating problem so I plugged my iPhone to my Mac and performed a sync without a check on syncing music & movies/TV shows to my iPhone under my iPhone's settings in iTunes. Afterwards I made another sync with the check on for music & movies/TV shows.

The same solution should work again but does anybody have any kind of knowledge about the situation? Does anybody know the origin of the situation and how I might get it solved? It's a very frustrating situation where I keep syncing a bunch of large files for no purpose.

Thanks.
