I have a 2nd gen iPod that is USB and therefore cannot work on a Sony LX40i docking station - I believe the docking station is firewire. Can I buy an adapter so I can play through it - it shows that the iPod is charging though.

As far as I know, no. There's no adapter for it, as far as I know. Though there are 30-pin to Firewire and 30-pin to USB cables, their wiring are pretty different. |
