Ask Different is a question and answer site for power users of Apple hardware and software. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have two Skype account, which I would like to be constantly signed-in in both. My solution to this matter is similar to another answer to the same problem. I do the same under Linux, but there is a program called gnomesu. (Maybe this app has nothing to do with sharing the clipboard, input source, etc.)

Since I use mainly a Hungarian keyboard layout, it is highly annoying that this second Skype only uses the default, American layout. Also it is inconvenient that it does not shares the clipboard nor uses my default and running apps.

Does anybody knows a solution for this?

In the linked question, I saw an answer that suggested the use of Skype Launcher. Although that is cool, but if it is running in elevated permissions, it is not good enough in long term. – Adam L. S. Jan 17 at 11:14
