Often the document files I create, modify and save show up only to have incorrect date stamps, as if they haven't been indexed correctly (or at all). This happens with any document file type (.pages,.docx, .pdf, .xlsx, etc.). When I Open or Attach a document file, it often appears at the bottom of the file list in a group titled, "No date", with individual file attributes showing "today" and/or the correct date.
Why are these recently created/used files grouped at the bottom of these lists under "no date", while they have their dates/times clearly stamped? It's frustrating not to be able to see my most recently modified files at the top of the list and have to scroll to the bottom for the few listed under "No date". Screenshot attached.
Of course I have changed sorting and viewing, and re-indexed Spotlight (my entire SSD), and switched back and forth between using Apple servers for my date and time, and my location, many times. After a fresh reboot everything is usually fine, but after a few hours/days of opening, saving, modifying, the date/timestamps seem to fall out of synch somehow.
