I have downloaded the installation file of mountain lion into my applications folder on my macbook pro. On clicking it, it shows me the dialog preparing to install..then it copies the files onto the mac and restarts my computer.

However, on restart, it still boots into my old OS 10.7.2 and not restarting to install OS mountain lion.

What could be the problem?
